                                                           SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
URGENT SAFETY WARNING REGARDING THE MAIN ENTRANCE OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS

AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES BUILDING CBN CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE.

The attention of the University Management has been drawn to a critical structural hazard

at the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences Building. The large glass panels housing

the lifts at the main entrance of the building - each with a thickness of 10mm - have shown signs

of imminent shattering, posing a grave danger to life and property.

In the interest of public safety, all staff, students, and visitors are hereby strictly warned NOT to use

the main entrance of the Faculty building under any circumstance. Equally, do not stand, loiter, or

gather near the affected glass walls at the front of the building.

Until further notice, access to the building shall be strictly through the BACK ENTRANCE.

The Management has already initiated urgent steps to replace the damaged glass and restore

safety to the facility. However, the cooperation of every member of the University community

is required to prevent any accidents or injuries.

We strongly advise all users of the building to take this warning seriously. Disregard for this directive

may result in severe harm, and the University will not be held liable for any consequences arising

from non-compliance.

Please be guided accordingly and circulate this information widely.
