The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Professor Ahmad Muhammad Tsauni, has identified mindset change, institutional resilience and collective responsibility as the foundation for sustainable Nigerian universities. Delivering the revived BUK Public Lecture titled "Development Dynamics and the Sustainability of Nigerian Universities," he urged universities to move beyond dependence on government funding by embracing innovation, diversified funding, strategic partnerships and institutional thinking.

EXTENSION OF BUKAT AND BUKDES EXERCISE DUE TO REMITA PLATFORM OUTAGE

The Management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) wishes to inform all prospective candidates and members of the public that the BUK Admission Screening Exercise (BUKAT) and BUKDES exercise has been extended by two (2) weeks.

The extension is to compensate for the period lost as a result of the REMita platform outage, which affected the payment and registration processes during the exercise.
