EXTENSION OF BUKAT AND BUKDES EXERCISE DUE TO REMITA PLATFORM OUTAGE

The Management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) wishes to inform all prospective candidates and members of the public that the BUK Admission Screening Exercise (BUKAT) and BUKDES exercise has been extended by two (2) weeks.

The extension is to compensate for the period lost as a result of the REMita platform outage, which affected the payment and registration processes during the exercise.

Consequently, the exercise has been extended for a period of two weeks, from Thursday, 3rd September 2026 to Thursday, 17th September 2026.

All affected candidates are therefore advised to utilise this additional period to complete their payment, registration, and other relevant processes as applicable.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the University’s official website regularly for further updates and important information concerning the exercise.

The University regrets any inconvenience caused by the REMita platform outage and appreciates the patience, understanding, and cooperation of all affected candidates.
