URGENT SAFETY WARNING REGARDING THE MAIN ENTRANCE OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS
AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES BUILDING CBN CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE.
The attention of the University Management has been drawn to a critical structural hazard
at the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences Building. The large glass panels housing
the lifts at the main entrance of the building - each with a thickness of 10mm - have shown signs

NITDA Commissions National Cybersecurity Centre at BUK
In a significant move to strengthen Nigeria’s cybersecurity landscape, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) on Tuesday, 20th May, 2025 commissioned a state-of-the-art National Cybersecurity Centre at Bayero University, Kano (BUK). The facility, unveiled, is poised to become a national hub for digital defense, innovation and talent development.
